Job description: Position: Warehouse Freezer Associate Reports to: Warehouse SupervisorAs a Warehouse Freezer Associate you will play a key role in contributing to the continued success of Silver Hills Bakery whose mission is to inspire individuals to live a healthy lifestyle. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic production work environment and will have the opportunity to learn new skills and work in a team setting. In this role, you are responsible for completing the duties listed below as well as other duties as assigned by your manager or their designate.Key Responsibilities:· Following safety and quality standards as set out by company.· Locate, pick, wrap and stage outgoing product in freezer environment· Material handling, inventory, clean-up, packaging and other elemental activities in processing and manufacturing.· Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, aisles and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Escalate any concerns· Maintain integrity of the products ensuring it is stored at appropriate temperatures and report any variances· Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.· Transporting raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually and using powered equipment.· Checking, weighing and counting materials and products.· Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights, brakes and cold storage· Ensure all documentation and reports are completed accurately and in a timely fashionRequirementsPosition: Warehouse Freezer Associate Reports to: Warehouse SupervisorAs a Warehouse Freezer Associate you will play a key role in contributing to the continued success of Silver Hills Bakery whose mission is to inspire individuals to live a healthy lifestyle.
