Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest-growing rental business in North America, is seeking a Warehouse Associate. The ideal Warehouse Associate is a team player and forward thinker who is key to our operational workflow. Whether the challenge is to load a large order, maintain an accurate inventory, or process equipment to our rental-ready standards, attitude and accuracy are key. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Winnipeg and Film Set experience is strongly preferred.Responsibilities as Warehouse Associate
- Complete assignments and special projects delegated by the supervisor.
- Test equipment making sure it complies with company standards and complete minimum quotas.
- Pull & stage orders in an organized fashion, assist when required, with loading and unloading trucks. Receive returns, exchanges. All counts & paperwork to be performed to the highest standard of accuracy.
- Keep warehouse floor & staging area clear and shelves organized.
- Comply with WCB/Safety requirements. Forklift training will be provided if necessary.
- Shipping & receiving duties as required.
Education/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:
- Previous film set and warehouse experience is an asset.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating a forklift
- Must be familiar with the safe use of power and hand tools.
- Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred
- Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred
