  • Prepare orders for delivery, shipping or collection as instructed by his/her supervisor.
  • Pack and deliver orders as instructed by his/her supervisor.
  • Ensure that shipping documents are complete and included with the product before delivery/collection.
  • Ensure that customer acknowledges and signs off for receipt of goods.
  • Ensure that customer orders are accurately fulfilled and product is properly packaged prior to shipping.
  • Coordinate with Sales team to provide freight quotes, track shipments, and expedite rush orders.
  • Report to his/her supervisor any low stock and over stock items.
  • Conduct inventory/cycle counts as directed by his/her supervisor.
  • Check inbound inventory for accuracy and complete receipt into Epicor. Advise his/her supervisor when inventory does not match the packing slip.
  • Pack properly received inventory into correct location and bays.
  • Provide DOP and Fit Testing services to customers as assigned by his/her supervisor.
  • Keep warehouse and front office areas clean and tidy, product properly located and identified, aisles clean and free of clutter.

Customer Service

  • Coordinate with the Head Office to establish and setup new customer accounts, including data entry and processing of new customer credit applications.
  • Process customer orders and payments, including walk-in customers.
  • Maintain and improve customer service by developing customer relationships and staying in contact with customers to ensure the flow of communication.
  • Provide customers with accurate information regarding shipping costs and delivery times where necessary.
  • Become knowledgeable regarding key features and benefits of products and product groups to promote and sell products, and provide application support to customers.

General

  • Assist with the routine inspection of facility for health and safety and report any hazards to his/her supervisor.
  • Report any identified quality issues to his/her supervisor and the Quality Department, where appropriate.
  • Provide back-up coverage for other members of the Manitoba team in accordance with guidelines established by the Company to ensure that customer inquiries and orders are fulfilled during PTO, business travel, other absences and emergencies.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality with company information, as necessary.

Must have valid, Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Must have strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Knowledge of computers and ERP systems. Exhibits a high level of integrity, mutual respect, and employee teamwork at all times. Displays a professional image. Demonstrates a strong commitment to meeting or exceeding company expectations, goals and objectives. Ability to learn, retain and convey general product information in order to assist customers and salespeople.
