Job description: Description :Toromont Cat is looking for a Warehouse Core Handler. The Core Handler is responsible for the accurate inspection of remanufactured cores returned, the processing of core credits for internal and external customers and the timely return of processed cores back to our suppliers Remanufacturing facilities.As a Warehouse Core Handler, YOU will experience:

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
• Accurately inspect cores from internal and external customers
• Process core return credits
• Package and ship cores to Caterpillar or other suppliers on a regular basis
• Monitor warranty group requests to ensure they are actioned in a timely manner
• Utilize RF and barcoding technology to track and process cores.
• Unload and load trucks with cores on them before and after processing.

Must-haves for this role:

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid Drivers License
• Forklift license (or ability to obtain one) and forklift experience highly required.
• Previous experience with RF and bar code technology in warehouse setting
• Experience using jib cranes, working from heights training
• Technical knowledge on parts is preferred
• Knowledge of AS400 based systems like DBS and CMIS2 (Cat system) is preferred.
• Secondary School level of education or higher
