ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities
Sipping and Receiving duties (Manual) – Computer

  • Receives items in the computer system to show which items are available for the customers
  • Determines which items need to be picked, checked and shipped from sales order
  • Pulls orders accordingly to the sales order and recheck them to ensure accuracy
  • Prepares items for delivery to customer
  • Trouble shoot back orders and contact vendors to see where shipments are
  • Secures packages to make sure no items are damaged in shipping to customer
  • Prepares customer returns for shipment
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins accordingly
  • Ensures if any inventory is damaged or not up to standards to be reported to the warehouse supervisor immediately.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 year of experience in warehousing environments in a similar role
  • Computer skills are a must, as will be working 80% of time for shipping and receiving duties
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted when grabbing or bringing customer orders
  • Solid communication skills, able to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
  • Not be afraid to get their hands dirty and lift products.
  • Need to have a clear driving abstract with a valid forklift license
