Job description: Description :COMPANY PROFILEPrimoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.SUMMARYWarehouse JM personnel are responsible for the management and maintenance of the shop, tool crib, and supplies for projects.Location: Suncor Forthills ABProject Start Date: August 15, 2024Duration: March 31, 2025Shift: 14&7, 10-hour daysRATE: $58.13 ( (Inclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, RSP matching, and education and training)Base Rate: $47.42Travel: Flights provided from Edmonton or CalgaryAccommodation: Camp availableJOB DUTIES

  • Ship and receive materials and equipment (load/clean equipment)
  • Organize materials and tools for the worksite
  • Maintain cleanliness in the shop and tool crib
  • Present missing/overdue tool reports to supervision
  • Maintain equipment and tools
  • Create requisitions for replenishing low stock
  • Mark new equipment with marking tool
  • Knowledge of heavy industrial service materials and tools, and their proper handling, storage and preparation for work sites
  • Experience in equipment and tool maintenance, with some related training preferred
  • Good knowledge of basic equipment maintenance and repair (mechanically inclined)
  • Ensure equipment and small tools are maintained and visual and annual inspections are done as required
  • Keep proper/updated certifications on all tools and MSDS sheets for consumables
  • Act as an in-town runner
  • Perform visual inspections of tools before releasing from/accepting in tool crib
  • Ensure cycle counts are accomplished daily
  • Various shop maintenance duties will be required
  • Various other duties as requested by management

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Valid Class 5 drivers (clean abstract)
  • CSTS-09 and/or CSO
  • WHMIS and any other site safety tickets that may be requested
  • Computer knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, and strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Positive attitude and compliance towards safety
