Develop and implement strategic goals and objectives for the warehouse department.
Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Ensure efficient and effective operations within the warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and loading processes.
Oversee inventory control processes, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and managing raw goods.
Coordinate with sales teams to ensure timely and accurate loading of products, addressing any issues related to sales support.
Assess and meet staffing requirements to support operational needs and maintain productivity.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
Identify and resolve operational issues, implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to senior management.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance warehouse operations.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of warehouse management experience.
2-3 years of supervisory experience.
Forklift/Powered Industrial Truck Certification is a must.
Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCM) or similar certification (asset).
Experience with SAP or other warehouse management systems (WMS) is an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
Effective troubleshooting and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities efficiently.
High attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
Experience in the Manufacturing/ Transportation/ Distribution industry (preferred).
Employment DetailsSalary: $75.000 – $85.000 per annum
Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Permanent, Full-time, Onsite, Overtime (if applicable)
Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
