Job description: Our client is seeking a full-time Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a small team. In this role, you will manage both incoming and outgoing orders while ensuring best practices in inventory control and quality assurance.Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of 3-4 employees
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, ensuring accuracy of all shipments
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Develop and implement inventory control processes
- Monitor facility conditions and operational efficiency
- Negotiate freight rates with third-party carriers
- Organize warehouse layout and maintain location identification systems to optimize order fulfillment
- Perform routine inventory cycle counts
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment
- Supervisory or management experience is an asset
- Proficiency with inventory management software
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
