-Coordinate distribution and warehouse operations through hands-on management of staff and resources
-Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
-Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, efficient inventory management and timely order fulfillment
-Implement and follow occupation health and safety guidelines
-Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to coordinate shipments and deliveries
-Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage stock rotation.
-Devise efficient routes for shipments and coordinate transportation logistics.Qualifications
-Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager. Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in food distribution
-Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
-Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
-Forklift driving certification/credentials
-Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databasesSummary
