No order is too big or too small.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment for electrical cable products.
- Manage inventory control, including stock levels, replenishment, and cycle counts of electrical cables and related components.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to enhance productivity and safety specific to electrical cable handling.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Coordinate with other departments, including procurement, sales, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor and improve warehouse layout and space utilization for optimal efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of electrical cables.
- Handle any issues or discrepancies with shipments, deliveries, or inventory.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and manage inventory and orders.
- Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in the electrical supply industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices, especially related to electrical components.
- Familiarity with electrical cables and components is a plus.
