Position Title: Warehouse Operations Coordinator

Department: Warehouse/LogisticsPosition Summary:
North Western Property Maintenance is seeking a meticulous and highly organized Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team in Cloverdale, BC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing the shop, taking inventory, and setting up work trucks for success. Experience in welding or fabrication, along with the ability to operate a forklift, bobcat, and 3-ton trucks, is essential.   • Shop Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are stored properly and are easily accessible.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, manage stock levels, and track inventory movement. Report discrepancies and reorder supplies as needed.
  • Truck Setup: Prepare and organize work trucks with necessary tools, equipment, and materials for daily operations. Ensure trucks are well-maintained and ready for use.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, bobcats, and 3-ton trucks to move materials and equipment within the warehouse and to job sites.
  • Fabrication and Welding: Utilize welding and fabrication skills to repair and maintain warehouse equipment and tools as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, equipment usage, and maintenance activities. Follow written directions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse manager and other team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and support overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with a focus on inventory management and shop organization. Welding or fabrication experience is required.
  • Skills: Proficient in operating forklifts, bobcats, and 3-ton trucks. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow written directions accurately.
  • Certifications: Forklift certification preferred. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Attributes: Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive attitude. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
