Job description: S3 Group Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join our S3 Group team in Medicine Hat, AB. S3 fosters a respectful, teamwork environment where ideas are valued, and everyone contributes with significance.At S3 Group, the Warehouse Shipper is responsible for storing, moving, handling, and providing raw materials to the production team.Job Overview:
- Conducting daily checks of equipment
- Picking materials to fill production workstations in a timely and safe manner
- Receiving, verifying, organizing, and monitoring materials
- Maintaining good housekeeping and accurate record processing of materials
- Maintain required equipment inspection documentation
- Ability to work safely
- Punctuality and maintain good attendance
Skills and Abilities:
- Valid Forklift Operator / telehandler Certification
- Grade 12 Diploma, or equivalent
- Experience in material handling, or previous comparable job experience and in Coordinating Logistics
- Ability to count, measure and record information accurately
- Positive and cooperative team player, strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel programs an asset
- Capable of adapting to and learning new software applications and working with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with others in English
