For more than 34 years North American Lighting Products has serviced customers in every industry from government & institutional facilities (i.e. hospitals), industrial & commercial operations to manufacturing plants, offices, and retail locations. Our staff is comprised of trained professionals averaging more than 10 years of experience in the lighting and electrical industry.The position is actively engaged in all warehouse activities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and customer service for both internal and external customers. Oversees day to day warehouse functions in all the following areas: receiving, order filling, logistics (coordination of inbound and outbound shipping). Prioritizes daily workflow to ensure customer requirements are met.Primary Responsibilities

  • Processing and organizing outbound orders for our customers, including picking, packaging and shipping.
  • Loading and unloading of trucks containing freight from our suppliers
  • Counting and putting away inventory in the warehouse, this includes lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform inspection and inventory checks to resolve discrepancies between ordered goods and goods received (i.e., quality, quantity, delays, accuracy, etc.)
  • Update inbound orders through Oracle’s NetSuite and generate required paperwork.
  • Ongoing maintenance and upkeep of stock in warehouse and retail areas (i.e., cleaned and organized)
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy by completing cycle counts as required and ensuring inventory control within the warehouse.
  • Scheduling of transportation as required to complete customer orders.
  • Flag issues and utilize problem-solving skills to fix them.
  • Report damaged and broken items in a timely fashion to allow inventory to be adjusted.
  • Maintain daily housekeeping and safety standards in the warehouse.
  • Accurately process orders assigned for shipping the following day including completing the order log with complete and accurate information.
  • Notify the Warehouse Lead Hand about orders that did not ship that day.
  • Process returned goods and either return them to stock, dispose of goods, hold them for examination or return them to the supplier.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $41,000 – $46,000 a year – Full-time

Expected salary: $41000 – 46000 per year
