Job description: Job Description:We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the warehouse operations of a growing company in Brantford On. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and the proper management of inventory and staff. You will play a key role in ensuring that our warehouse functions smoothly and meets performance targets.Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the warehouse team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods
- Ensure that inventory is properly managed and accurate
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety and operational policies
- Coordinate with other departments to manage inbound and outbound shipments
- Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency
- Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to warehouse staff
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory or orders
Requirements:Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus
- Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., WMS, Warehouse Management Systems)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
