Job description: Job Seekers can review the Job Applicant Privacy Policy by clickingSUMMARYThe General Warehouse Associate (GWA) is responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment for the purpose of accurate shipping, processing and receiving, which includes but is not limited to stacking product. The GWA is responsible for repackaging product when necessary, counting and inspecting product, and notifying the appropriate person when product is damaged. The GWA is expected to perform all GWA duties as directed by Management. All work performed by the GWA must meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity.Compensation: The salary for this role is $69, 437.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESReceivingUnload inbound shipments safely and move products to the correct destination. Efficiently stage and load the merchandise in the appropriate areas. All product movements and order activity will be processed as defined by the work instruction.QualityEnsure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. All variances and damages must be documented. Properly label and handle shipments, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped according to the paperwork. Perform loading duties in an efficient manner that must customer specifications.LoadingEfficiently move product from staging and/or unloading area into the correct load door and the assigned trailer. Ensure the trailer is secured and chocked prior to entering the trailer in accordance to procedures outlined.EquipmentMust be able to be certified by an UTi qualified trainer as a qualified equipment operator. The GWA must have an UTi operator license on the equipment assigned prior to operating the equipment. The GWA must carry the certification limited to a forklift, stand up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, and scissors lift and pallet jack. The GWA must be able to perform duties on power equipment using various types of material handling attachments in a safe manner and on a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. The GWA must operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed training.Safety, Sanitation & SecurityMaintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.HousekeepingMust perform daily aisle and building audits as required by management.MaintenancePerform or assist in building, ground, and equipment maintenance as required.Other DutiesPerform all forklift activities as required. Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.Maintain the facility to provide a clean and safe work environment.Other duties or responsibilities as requested by Management.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Must be certified to operate a forklift and stock picker and must complete all training for Inbound and Outbound operations. Must meet productivity and meet error ratio standards. Must maintain housekeeping assignments and work overtime when needed. Must accurately complete all paperwork and keep paperwork legible.   • Gérer les déplacements de materiel de production et les flux sortants de tout les arrimages d’une manière efficace selon des paramètres prédéterminés, tout en réagissant aux exceptions de logistique au jour le jour
  • Rencontrer régulièrement l’équipe centrale d’ingénierie et de logistique, pour revoir les exigences actuelles et le rendement courant des objectifs d’utilisation cubique ainsi que pour réviser et développer les besoins futurs en logistique selon les exigences des clients.
  • S’assurer de la conformité des transporteurs à un ensemble donné de paramètres, mener des investigations OS & D, gérer le processus de réclamation des transporteurs
  • Fournir des rapport réguliers en temps opportun et responsable des indicateurs de rendement clés (IRC) de l’emplacement
  • Planifier, mener et réviser des audits de santé/sécurité et d’utilisation cubique, en s’assurant que tous les paramètres sont remplis et que les initiatives d’amélioration continue sont suivies

Exigences:
H.S. diplôme/GED requis
Un (1) an ou plus d’expérience dans le domaine du transport, de l’entrepôt ou de la distribution, de préférence
0 à un (1) an d’expérience directe en supervision / leadership requiseCentré sur les résultats avec un degré élevé d’initiative (Exigé).
