Job description: Job Posting Description:Pay: $17.85Warehouse Worker (May 2024 – January 2025)The LCBO is an Ontario government enterprise and one of the world’s largest buyers and retailers of beverage alcohol.Under the direction of the department supervisor, you will perform a variety of responsibilities which include, but are not limited to safe case handling, manual offloading of shipping containers, manual case order picking and manual case palletizing functions.We are hiring Warehouse Workers to join the outstanding team in our Durham Retail Service Centre facility located at 2000 Boundary Road, Whitby, Ontario. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are committed to showing up and completing assigned tasks. Above all else, we love Warehouse Workers who don’t mind lifting heavy things.Click to see what a day in the life looks like for our warehouse employees in our Durham Retail Service Centre.About the Role:Manually unload cases of product from containers and trailers with the assistance of powered belt conveyors and step stoolsPhysically able to load and unload cases of beer, wine, spirits, and cider that weigh between 40lbs (18 kg if you prefer the metric system) and 60lbs (27 kg).
