-Efficiently receive, unload, and organize incoming inventory items, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
-Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following company standards and specific customer requirements.
I-Perform regular inventory controls, including cycle counts, to maintain accuracy and ensure readiness for audits.
-Maintain high-quality standards by inspecting products for damages and ensuring proper labeling before shipment.
-Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.
-Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery, following safety protocols.
-Accurately complete and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring records are up-to-date.
-Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring that products are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
-Work closely with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
-Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor, including special projects and tasks that support overall warehouse operations.Qualifications
-Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required. On-the-job training may be provided for motivated candidates.
-Basic computer skills for entering data into a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or inventory software.
Familiarity with barcode scanners and other warehouse technology is a plus.
-Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking, packing, and shipping orders, as well as in inventory management.
-Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy packages, typically up to 50 pounds or more, repeatedly throughout the day.
-Comfortable with standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
-Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors.
-Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient warehouse space.
-Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
-Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and according to guidelines (certification may be required).
-Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during warehouse operations, such as inventory discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
-Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, contributing to overall team goals and supporting colleagues as needed.
-Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed to meet business demands.
-Strong work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance.Summary
