Job description: Position Summary:Acuren is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Canada team! The Accountant will support the accounting function of all entities.This is an in office role based in Sherwood Park, Alberta.Responsibilities:

• Posting of journal entries
• Bank reconciliations
• Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
• Reconciliation of per diem program
• Accounts payable support
• Manage credit card program
• Monthly preparation of financial reports as needed

Requirements:

• University or post-secondary degree or diploma with focus on Accounting,
• Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong MS-Excel skills
• Resourceful with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Understanding of accounting systems; experience with SAGE a plus
• Detail oriented
