Job description: Job Description:Our client in Calgary is looking for a contract Accountant to support finance operations, system administration, and special projects. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented with a strong foundation in accounting and systems support.Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the BlackLine reconciliation platform (user access, account assignment, audit controls)
- Manage and track support issues using ServiceNow
- Support workflows, prioritize tasks, and lead brief weekly team meetings
- Maintain and update documentation for internal processes
- Assist with projects and perform analysis or reconciliation work as needed
- Ad-hoc duties as requested
Requirements:Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or data analysis
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, and BlackLine is an asset
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Available to start immediately
