Job description: About the Opportunity

• Perform daily and end of month reconciliations for all cash accounts and record journal entries to the general ledger
• Reconcile AR, AP and inventory subsidiaries with GL
• Reconciling high volume visa and debit transactions
• Complete journal entries and other tasks to assist with month end close
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly management reports and supporting schedules
• Provide accounting and analytical support to internal stakeholders
• Assist with monthly reporting and year-end audit schedules
• Assist in the preparation of ad hoc reports and financial analysis for senior management
• Manage and meet tight financial reporting deadlines
• Obtain financial information from multiple sources in a timely and accurate manner

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in commerce or business
• 2+ years of full cycle accounting experience
• Working towards CPA, past the PREP stage as a minimum
• Experience and knowledge of Oracle NetSuite or other ERP systems
• Superior financial analytical skills; demonstrated experience in a position requiring extensive analysis to review accounts and solve accounting problems
• Effective written and verbal communications skills; able to articulate issues to senior financial and operations management
• Strong analytical skills for P&L analysis and account reconciliation
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work towards and meet deadlines
• Previous experience in the Restaurant Industry an asset
• Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
• Advanced experience with Microsoft: Word, Excel (i.e. vlookups, pivot tables), PowerPoint & Outlook
• Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese a highly valued asset

Hourly Rate
