I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.I’m looking for an accounting technician for my client, an accounting firm located in the Ahuntsic district. This is a permanent position.
Duties include:– Maintain the books of a diversified client portfolio
– Periodically record closing entries and reconcile accounts and records (bank accounts, sales, fixed assets, accrued expenses, etc.).
– Assist in payroll processing for certain customers
– Produce GST/QST and D.A.S. reports.
– Participate in the processing of compilation assignments
– Participate in the preparation of corporate tax returns
– Communicate with government agencies and follow up on various ongoing files– DEC in accounting
– 2 years’ experience in a similar position
– Fluency in French mandatory, English an asset
– Experience in an accounting firm
