Our client, a leader in their field, has partnered with Aplin to hire a permanent Accounting Analyst based in Calgary, AB.Reporting to the Controller you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the monthly accounting cycle. You will be a key addition to our accounting team who takes pride in your accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to communicate.Responsibilities:

• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks accurately and on time, adhering to established accounting cycle deadlines.
• Process accounts payable transactions, including administrative and gas vendor invoices, with precision.
• Manage accounts receivable responsibilities, including the preparation of monthly customer invoices.
• Generate electronic funds transfer (EFT) and pre-authorized debit (PAD) files monthly.
• Maintain comprehensive and detailed manual documenting accounting procedures.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a friendly and professional manner, fostering strong and lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years supporting general accounting practices in a professional environment
• Relevant degree/diploma/certificate from an accredited institution
• Proactive self-starter who can work independently with minimal direction
• High proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Exceptional organization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines
