• Process vendor invoices efficiently using an electronic invoicing system, ensuring adherence to approval levels and accurate record-keeping.
• Assist with month-end and year-end procedures, including preparing account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain vendor payment terms through regular updates and ensure timely processing of vendor setups.
• Organize and manage accounts payable files to ensure proper filing and easy access when needed.
• Handle a high volume of accounts payable tasks, processing over 100 invoices weekly with accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize accounts payable automation systems effectively, including exporting and posting invoices to general ledger accounts.
• Process freight invoices and ensure proper matching and reconciliation for accurate financial reporting.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations as needed to support accurate financial records.
• Verify vendor banking information to ensure compliance and avoid discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice processing and coding.
• Strong skills in account reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and vendor management.
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial data management and reporting.
• Experience with high-volume invoice processing in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate financial records.
• Familiarity with AP automation systems and general ledger posting processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting while meeting deadlines.

Expected salary: $19.79 – 22.91 per hour
