Job description: About Our ClientOur client, located in Burlington, is looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join their team!ResponsibilitiesThe Accounts Receivable Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Enter customer payments in ERP and apply them to the correct invoices
- Run the customer aging reports and analyze for discrepancies
- Process invoices from miscellaneous vendors (utility invoices, consulting invoices, office supplies)
- Prepare invoice summary statements daily
- Perform bank reconciliations for all the banks on a monthly basis
- Prepare credit card spend information on a monthly basis
- Run a vendor aging reports weekly
- Assist the head of finance monthly with closing of books of account
- Preparation of financial statements
- Ad hoc tasks as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
- Approximately 4-5 years of Full Cycle Accounts Receivable
- Experience with Accounts Payable
- Experience with MS 365 Business Central (asset)
- Experience with Excel is required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic, and can-do attitude!
