Job description: Your Opportunity:The Administrative IV is an advanced position that supports the Program Manager for Central Services and their team. The incumbent is responsible for providing complex administrative office support and is expected to ensure the effective and efficient management of a wide scope of responsibilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following functions: the planning and organizing (scheduling) of the Central Services Managers; recruitment supports including scheduling liaison for Central Services; directly responding and following up on designated matters; and managing the accounts payable/receivable for Central Services’ areas of responsibility. The position is also responsible for working on short- and long-term assignments on a variety of issues relevant to education, accreditation, workplace health & safety, emergency preparedness, processes, quality projects and best practice as well as event planning/oversight. The incumbent will use extensive independent judgment in interpreting guidelines to meet objectives and find solutions to problems. Additionally, the incumbent identifies potential issues/risks; prioritizing issues and reports same to the Program Manager. This position requires exceptional skills in organization, project management, decision-making, and handling of confidential information. Responsibilities vary over a diverse range of portfolios and the incumbent must be able to multi-task with efficiency and competence. Good communication skills and the ability to work with other members of the administration team are required. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Required Qualifications:Some post-secondary education. Additional Required Qualifications:Computer proficient skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams is required. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a health care environment is preferred. Computer software experience in ESP, Google Docs, RLS, E-People, Visio, and RMS is preferred.
