Job description: Your Opportunity:Description:As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Required Qualifications:Some post-secondary education. Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 3 years Dental Administration experience that includes Gold Dental and Sidexis software. Knowledge of medical terminology is required. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative role within a healthcare environment working with providers. Knowledge and operation of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Minimum 1 year of Connect Care and Netcare experience. Knowledge of cash handling, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and month end reporting. Experience with submitting insurance claims, set-up and maintenance of online insurance accounts required. Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience working as a Dental Office Assistant. Clinical scheduling is an asset. Ability to manage patient records with confidentiality and accuracy, and an ability to identify discrepancies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to critically think with demonstrated ability to problem solve complex issues. Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with high call volumes.
