The Advisor will ensure that Centralized Services’ costs are allocated to Enbridge’s various reporting units in a fair and consistent manner to accurately portray the results of those businesses and to enable appropriate recovery of those costs from customers and regulatory authorities.We offer opportunities for career development, growing your knowledge and skills, and an exciting career with competitive benefits and pension package including generous time off.Apply today to this excellent opportunity on our diverse team! #joinourteamWhat You Will Do:Coordinate in their assigned areas, the development of budgets, forecasts and LRP (long-range plan) projections of Centralized Services costs and their allocations to business units.Assist in the development and maintenance of corporate costs allocations model. These allocations are subject to intensive review by all cost recipients; therefore, they must be defensible and well detailedReview the allocation methodologies in use on an enterprise-wide basis to ensure that holistically the processes are logical; identify and lead initiatives to improve and align processes.Collaborate with Centralized Services groups in driving a disciplined analysis of financial results and prepare reports with actuals to budget variances for presentation to senior management.Provide support in rate cases and audits.Support other ad-hoc inquiries as needed; build and maintain expertise at understanding the complex principal business drivers within the Centralized Services and other operating business segments. This will require building strong, cooperative working relationships with business units.Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in various reporting and analytical tools including, Power BI (with ability to build intermediate level Power BI reports), MS Excel (with ability to prioritize and analyze large volumes of data using functionalities, such as, Pivot Tables, Index, Match, VLOOKUP, Logical functions, etc.), Hyperion Planning and Essbase systems (with solid understanding to generate different queries for analyses and insights); and recommend improvements to the systems.Who You Are:Designated Accountant with 4 years or more of related experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills complemented by excellent attention to detail. Works well within a multi-disciplinary team environment, with an ability to build collaborative working relationships.Hands-on experience in Oracle/SAP and Hyperion.Working knowledge of Power BI.Highly proficient in the use of Excel.Excellent interpersonal skills combined with a results-oriented business approach.Flex Work Arrangements: Enbridge provides competitive workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members.
