Job description: Job Description:Our client in Edmonton is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Billing Clerk to join their finance department on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing processes, proficiency in Track software, and intermediate Excel skills. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy to contribute to their team and ensure timely and accurate billing processes.Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and process invoices accurately and efficiently
• Review billing data for accuracy and completeness, and resolve any discrepancies
• Prepare billing statements and reports for management review
• Assist in the reconciliation of accounts receivable and billing records
• Communicate with clients to address billing inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for billing purposes
• Assist in the development and implementation of billing procedures and controls
• Provide support to the finance team as needed

Requirements:Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in accounting or related field is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in a billing or accounts receivable role
• Proficiency in Track software is an asset
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, vlookups)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Available to start immediately

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the construction industry or with construction billing
• Knowledge of billing regulations and standards
• Certification in billing or accounts receivable is a plus
