Job description: Job Description:Our Calgary-based client is looking for an experienced contract Bookkeeper to support their accounting team. This role involves full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple entities and requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable, including invoice uploads, expense payments, and cheque runs
- Report employee hours to Payworks and assist with payroll processes
- Support month-end procedures, including bank reconciliations
- Upload tax-related documents and manage expense submissions
- Liaise with Canada Revenue Agency, including handling Rep ID documentation
- Coordinate with the external accountant and assist with other general bookkeeping tasks as needed
Requirements:Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Experience working with multiple companies or entities
- Proficient in Sage 50 accounting software
- Strong understanding of payroll processes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Available to start immediately
