Job description: Job Description:We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Accountant in Edmonton, Alberta. The role involves managing financial data and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. You will be working in a dynamic workspace, overseeing various accounting tasks.Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and maintain financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and statements for management review on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis.

• Conduct account reconciliation and ensure precise accounting of transactions.

• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.

• Manage payroll processing on a bi weekly basis and maintain detailed payroll records.

• Cooperate with external auditors and support in audit preparation.

• Utilize your skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, and Consolidated Financial Statements.

• Prepare work in progress (WIP) reports and progress billing.

• Ensure the month-end close is completed accurately and on time.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field

• Professional Accounting Designation (CPA, CMA, CGA etc) considered a significant asset

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Skilled in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Consolidated Financial Statements

• Experience in Financial Statement Preparation

• Familiarity with WIP – Work In Progress tasks

• Experience in Progress Billing

• Capable of handling Month End Close tasks

Expected salary: $80000 – 100000 per year
