Job description: New Junior Finance Analyst Role Open!Agilus is recruiting for a Finance Analyst (Junior) in the Energy Sector in Calgary, Alberta. We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Finance Analyst to join our team on a 1-year contract. This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, cross-border corporate environment. You will support treasury and finance operations across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting. Responsibilities:

• Support treasury operations including bank account administration, wire payments, investments, and intercompany transactions (loans, equity, promissory notes).
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and track financial transactions.
• Prepare and distribute financial reports, presentations, and funds flow diagrams.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of intercompany loans and related documentation.
• Input and process transactions in SAP (FICO/TRM), ensuring proper audit backup and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and international service providers.
• Assist with board meeting materials, including agenda preparation and documentation.
• Participate in SAP testing, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or treasury.
• Proficiency in SAP (FICO and/or TRM modules).
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
