We preserve our provincial parks for the recreation and enjoyment of Albertans. As well as enabling access to public lands for recreational and commercial purposes while prioritizing conservation. As a Financial Analyst within the Central Services branch of the Government of Alberta, you would play a critical role in driving efficiency, enhancing service delivery, and enabling strategic decision-making at the executive level. This is more than a numbers role – it is an opportunity to shape the future of financial management across ministries by contributing insights that matter.As a Financial Analyst reporting to the Manager, Business Services, you would be instrumental in supporting executive and operational leadership with financial forecasting, analysis and reporting. Your work would span across multiple branches to ensure financial accuracy, identify efficiencies, and provide trusted advisory services. This position is key to building strong relationships, ensuring accountability, and improving how public funds are managed as well as reported. QualificationsEducation and Experience:A university degree or diploma in Business/Accounting and a minimum of 3 years of related experience in financial analysis, revenue or cost recovery or accounts receivable.Equivalency: Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of: one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.Additional Requirements:
