Job description: We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer for the largest automotive product suite in Canada.What to expectWorking alongside some very talented and dedicated individuals, you will be part of a cross-functional agile team that contributes to building AutoSync’s digital platformTaking part in daily agile ceremonies, brainstorming on innovative ideas that challenge the status quo and helping to implement solutionsActing as an advocate for ownership & highest code quality, as well as contributing to the health of the infrastructureRaising the bar and elevating the team by sharing knowledge and best practices, while always seeking improvements and facilitating progressWhat you’ll be bringing to the team4+ years developing reliable, highly available and scalable softwareStrong understanding of software architecture and design patternsFirm grasp of clean code principles and coding standardsStrong proficiency with backend development (PHP, Typescript, )Strong proficiency with SQL & NoSQL datastores (MySQL, MondgoDB, Redis)Strong proficiency with frontend development (HTML, CSS, Javascript)Strong proficiency with or other component-based frameworksHands on experience in Wordpress developmentKnowledge of modern cloud infrastructures and tools, such as AWS and/or GCP and DockerExperience developing in a service based application environmentExperience in building APIsExperience building optimized UIs for performanceProficiency with version control systems such as GitExperience working within a formal CI/CD pipelineExperience with logging, monitoring and alerting services like NewRelicGood approach to testing and ensuring quality of code, Unit testing, backend and frontend.Production on-call, incident handling, troubleshooting and post incident review management experience.
