This includes designing site-specific upgrades, replacements, and new installations for the natural gas system.Typical Tasks:Review and prepare design drawingsPrepare installation procedures and design calculationsPrepare and manage cost estimates, spending forecasts, and project schedulesCommunicate and coordinate with various stakeholders, internal and externalStream 2 – Engineering Strategy & Business OptimizationFocus on supporting business strategy and optimization for the natural gas business unit. This includes improvements through process automation, data management and analytics.Typical Tasks:Lead and support initiatives aimed at business process and policy improvements in areas such as project management and engineering executionLead and support tool and application development projects using software such as Microsoft Automate and PowerAppsInform business decisions through data management, modeling, analysis, and reporting using software (Excel, Power BI, etc.)Perform stakeholder engagement with functional groups across the natural gas business unit ranging from frontline staff to senior leadershipStream 3 – Engineering Field SupportFocus on direct support to construction and operations. In this stream you will have the opportunity to explore the connection between field groups and all engineering groups within the business unit.Typical Tasks:Provide support in completing tasks such as:Create schedules to meet project and field requirementsReview technical documentation to ensure quality and integrity of pipeline systemsManage contractors that execute natural gas projectsAct as a liaison between the field and engineering groupsConsult survey groups to assist in obtaining project relevant dataStream 4 – Engineering System Design & InnovationFocus on company strategies surrounding technical and economic analysis of current, and future, pipeline systems, equipment, and materials.Typical Tasks:Research, testing, and development of emerging technologiesPerform hydraulic modelling, business case preparation, long term development plan preparationPerform material failure analysisApplications will be evaluated on the following criteria: Work experience; Extracurricular and volunteer experience; Unique experiences; Resume Quality and application effort.
