Job description: Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The CFO Controls Office (CCO) reports into Finance and is designed to add value and improve RBC’s financial control environment and reporting process. It provides subject matter expert advice, enabling RBC to achieve its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, controls and governance processes across the Bank which impacts the financial statements.The Manager, reporting to the Director / Senior Director, will be responsible for managing and supporting innovation initiatives for the CFO Group by providing subject matter expertise on risks, controls, and governance matters. The incumbent will also participate in control-related projects in other CCO areas, as needed.What will you do?Supporting key control and governance innovation initiatives with a focus on:Delivering a fit for purpose control framework by streamlining RBC’s control structure through the creation of an enterprise approach for development of controls, standardized process documentation, and common tools.
