As part of the AMA team, you’ll enjoy:Competitive salary.Benefits available for purchase.Vacation paid out to you each pay period.Employee-exclusive discounts on travel, insurance, memberships, driver education, registry services, and more.Ongoing professional development, with unlimited learning opportunities, full Udemy access, and dedicated time for personal growth.Flexible work models that make sense for your lifestyle.Who You AreYou thrive in an environment where collaboration is key, and you know the best results happen when people work together.You love building and leading a high-performing team — coaching, supporting, and challenging them to grow.You take pride in creating accurate, timely financial reports that help shape business decisions.You enjoy improving processes, finding efficiencies, and making complex information easy to understand.You’re committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, accuracy, and accountability.How You’ll Make an ImpactReporting to the Controller, you will lead and direct the Internal Services function of the Association, guiding annual budgeting and forecasting, managing financial reporting structures, and overseeing the chart of accounts.Oversee payment technology solutions, and related contracts.Lead the allocation process — determining methodology, identifying enhancements, and reviewing calculations.Develop and refine financial controls, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance and reducing risk.Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making across AMA’s business units.Identify and deliver process improvements for finance operations.Manage the finance systems function — identifying issues, supporting integration, and ensuring smooth operation.Coach and develop your team, creating a supportive and growth-oriented environment.What You Bring to the TableYou have a post-secondary degree, certificate, or diploma in Accounting or Business.You hold a professional accounting designation or equivalent experience.You bring at least 10 years of accounting experience with progressive responsibility, including two years of supervisory experience.You have experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and year-end working papers.You’re skilled with computerized accounting systems.You have exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.You can effectively manage shifting priorities and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Belonging Matters Here
