- Oversee all day to day accounting
- Period-end closing and reporting
- Manage, review, and evaluate internal controls and processes
- Staff management, mentorship, and training
- Other accounting and project duties as assigned
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- CPA designation is required
- Previous experience working in a firm environment is a definite asset
- Ability to apply knowledge of various accounting standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Efficiency, willingness to learn and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
- A positive attitude with effective communication skills
