Job description: We’re looking for a candidate who brings a strong blend of experience, technical expertise, and soft skills to this critical role; Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in risk management, IT audit, regulatory compliance, or technology governance, preferably within a large organization or financial institution. Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices, including proficiency in conducting both quantitative and qualitative risk assessments. Knowledge of industry-standard risk management frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT, ISO 31000). Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools such as Metricstream, Archer, ServiceNow, or equivalent. Previous experience with business process analysis/mapping is an asset. Proficiency in leveraging automation, data analytics, or AI to enhance governance or risk programs is a significant plus. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information, think critically, and assess risks from multiple perspectives to develop clear, actionable insights. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively communicate complex risk concepts and present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, enabling effective work with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline is required.
