Job description: Production PlannerOur manufacturing client in Calgary is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Production Planner to join their fast-paced operations team. This role is critical in coordinating production schedules, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth workflow across new and existing product lines. The ideal candidate will work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to align production planning with operational goals and support the launch of new product lines.Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Lead production planning activities for assigned product lines or plant areas.
• Analyze capacity, labor, and material constraints to optimize production schedules.
• Partner with material planners to align procurement and inventory strategies with production needs.
• Drive improvements in scheduling accuracy, inventory turns, and on-time delivery.
• Utilize ERP systems and planning tools to manage and communicate production plans.
• Mentor junior planners and contribute to cross-functional planning initiatives.

Your strengths include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations.
• Strong experience with ERP Systems (Visual) is considered a strong asset
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, HVAC, or related sectors preferred.
• Familiarity with 80/20 principles and lean manufacturing practices.
