Job description: SAP Basis Technical LeadOur client is searching for an SAP Basis Technical Lead to join their team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the administration, configuration and support of the SAP technical environment, while also providing leadership and guidance to a team of Basis professionals. A successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Lead and mentor a team of SAP Basis Systems Analysts, providing technical direction, performance feedback, and professional development support
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems ( ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc)
• Coordinate and manage system upgrades, patches, kernel updates, and system copies
• Ensure optimal system performance, availability, and security across all SAP landscapes
• Manage SAP transport processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP projects, migrations, and enhancements
• Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the Basis team
• Provide escalation support and participate in 24/7 on-call rotations as needed

Your strengths include:

• 7+ years SAP Basis experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
• Operational Support experience is required
• Utility Industry Experience
• On-prem S4/HANA experience
• Have one or many related skill sets with the following:

• SAP PO (Process Orchestration) Developer
• SAP ISU Functional Analyst

• SAP CRM
• SAP ISU IDE
• SAP ISU FICA
• SAP ISU Billing
• SAP ISU PM/DM
• BDex Suite for SAP ISU

• SAP ISU Business Analyst/Data Analyst
• OpenText (SAP) Developer
• SAP BOBJ/Reporting Analyst
• SAP HANA DBA
• SAP Fiori Developer
• UIPath SAP Automation Specialist
