Position Overview:Metalogic is excited to invite a talented and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our innovative finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage full-cycle accounting processes, ensure the precision of our financial records, and contribute to the strategic financial direction of a dynamic and growing company. • Oversee full cycle accounting for our US operations, including month-end close, variance reviews, and explanations.
• Review expense accounts to identify errors or capital items.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations, including intercompany and credit card reconciliations.
• Support bank reconciliations, AP, and AR as needed.
• Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements.
• Post accrual and allocation entries, as necessary.
• Maintain an accurate audit trail and support for all transactions.
• Organize and initiate bank payments to vendors.
• Enhance month-end and other accounting processes to drive efficiencies.
• Support project accounting, analysis and reporting.
• Support our Operations team through reporting and analysis as needed.
• Participate in various finance projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Completed bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; designation preferred.
• Five or more years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Great Plains and/or Business Central is an asset, but not required.
• Experience working with US entities an asset, but not required.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines independently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
