Job #4701 – An exciting opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a thriving and growing organization that will offer great opportunities for advancement! The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the construction industry and be keen to improve processes. You will have a high attention to detail and be flexible with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Manager of Finance, the main responsibilities include:
- Full cycle project accounting
- Review and prepare adjusting journal entries
- Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Review of actuals to budget
- Assist with month-end close process
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis
- Assist with year-end audit
- Ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Post-secondary education in accounting or finance
- CPA designation is considered an asset
- 4-5 years’ progressive experience in accounting
- Previous experience in the construction industry
- Excellent English communication skills, oral and written
