As a Senior Accountant in Vancouver you will:-Provide Support in oversight of external U.S. property accounting teams, including tracking activities, providing accounting support, and escalating issues that require management’s attention.
-Assist the International Finance Reporting team with annual financial statement audits.
-Prepare unaudited quarterly financial statements for property-level entities, ensuring alignment with IFRS standards.
-Review monthly and yearly property reports to confirm objectives are achieved within deadlines and in accordance with IFRS.
-Oversee the transition and integration of assets and legal entities into Yardi as properties shift to direct management.
-Collaborate with property accounting staff, asset management, banking teams, and other global departments to ensure they receive timely service and advice.Qualifications
A successful Senior Accountant in Vancouver will have:-CPA or Final Steps of CPA Journey
-3+ year of Experience in Property Accounting
-Experience using Yardi Software
-IFRS Exposure
-Exposure to US and/or international markets, or exposure working with international accounting teams is a STRONG assetSummary
