We are hiring a Senior Project Manager for our Calgary-based commercial construction client. This individual will lead and support projects across the Calgary region and is responsible for the successful execution and delivery of projects, ensuring safety, budget control, timely completion, and the highest quality standards.What you will be doing:Lead and ensure operational standards and processes are executed efficiently and consistently across all project phasesDeliver exceptional client service and build strong relationships that deliver long-term valueDevelop and implement strategies to meet project performance goals and client satisfaction metricsFoster innovation and continuous improvement by promoting a Lean culture and providing training and development opportunities to team membersOversee all aspects of project startup including Prime Contract finalization, execution planning, resource and staffing plans, and procurementCollaborate with Estimating and Business Development teams to identify and secure new project opportunitiesLead all aspects of financial strategy and project budget managementManage and enforce Safety, Quality Control, and Communications plansDevelop and maintain project schedules, track productivity and performanceChair meetings, issue minutes, and ensure follow-up on action itemsManage stakeholder expectations and maintain open communication throughout the project lifecycleOversee project close-out activities including training, inspections, turnover, and warrantySupport business development by nurturing long-term relationships with clients, design professionals, and industry partnersMentor, coach, and develop project team members to ensure individual and organizational growth and successWhat you must have:Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAnalytical thinker with a talent for solving complex challenges with innovative solutionsConfident decision-maker in high-risk, ambiguous situationsProactive in conflict prevention and resolutionStrong risk management skills aligned with project objectivesAbility to lead initiatives in construction technology and innovationCommitment to a team-focused, respectful, and results-driven cultureBachelor’s degree, diploma, or 2-year certificate in a construction-related field10+ years’ experience as a Project Manager overseeing commercial or institutional construction projectsProven experience managing projects from startup to close-out across a range of sizes and complexitiesFamiliarity with a variety of construction contract typesUnderstanding of Lean principles, collaborative planning, and continuous improvement practicesExperience with the Last Planner System is an assetExperience using Procore Construction Management Software is an assetSalary/Rate Range: $130,000.00 – $175,000.00Other Information:
