We’re enabling world-class customer, patient and clinician experience by leveraging industry-leading AI & digital healthcare capabilities to deliver the highest quality and standard of excellence in care.What you’ll doAs a Senior Strategy Manager on the Healthcare Excellence Digital Transformation team, you will play a critical role in transforming and integrating our Healthcare Excellence operations through technology solutions. You will champion the HCE Technology Governance and Project Portfolio, enabling prioritization and resourcing of technology projects, measuring and reporting on the costs and return on investment of technology projects, and creating and maintaining a funnel of opportunities that leverage technology to drive transformation change within our business.Here’s how:
- Supporting the intake, business case development, impact assessment, budget approvals and prioritization of new HCE technology projects in exploratory and Gate 0 phases
- Facilitating project prioritization and resourcing both internally and with partner teams
- Reporting and measuring return on technology investments and digital transformation project progress, including benefit realization tracking, project status, budget impacts, critical issues, risks and other project success KPIs
- Facilitating executive updates/sign-off for technology decisions and digital transformation projects as required
- Maintaining the HCE technology project portfolio including actively managing a funnel of opportunities
- Monitoring DP&M spend, identifying, escalating and delivering on cost optimization opportunities
- Partnering closely across stakeholder teams to understand their requirements and ensure technology projects align with their strategic goals
- Developing and implementing best-in-class processes, tools, and systems to support effective portfolio and ROI management
QualificationsWhat you bring
- Five or more years of experience providing program management, business planning and financial support for IT projects in a large multi-business unit organization
- Demonstrated ability to assess benefits, costs, and risks with strong business and financial acumen
- Recognized for your business acumen, problem-solving prowess and advanced analytical and financial skills
- Passion for driving automation, efficiencies and simplification, you are always looking for ways to improve processes through your experience and/or business tools
- Experience in creating visually appealing and informative dashboards to track and analyze portfolio performance, providing stakeholders with clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Ability to form strong working relationships and manage change effectively within the team and across cross-functional stakeholders
- Hands-on approach to problem-solving in a proactive and collaborative manner, capable of presenting complex information in an easily understood manner
- Engaging communicator with strong presentation skills, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact confidently with senior management and business stakeholder
- Self-motivated with high-performance standards, able to navigate complex concepts and ambiguity with confidence
- Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills with the ability to foster cross-functional teamwork to achieve outcomes in challenging environments (tight deadlines, limited information or resources, etc.)
Great-to-haves
- University degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, Engineering
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and/or graduate degree (MBA, etc.)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience
- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience leading transformational change management activities
