Job description: Flynn Canada Ltd is looking for a Service Manager! This position will be based out of our Calgary location, reporting to the VP of Service.Here’s what your days will look like as a Service Manager:Development and management of relationships and Service Team:– Communication with existing customers and grow new business– Manage the office and field staff– Review and update the production schedule and any safety audits– Work closely with the Superintendents on workload, sales, and scheduleCompletion and/or review of the following for new roofs or roof repairs:– Quotes and tenders for maintenance, repairs, and mechanical upgrades– Roof Reports which may include photos and quotes– Manage workflow of invoicing and Accounts Receivable– Utilize our custom app to monitor workflow and process– Oversee financials and budgets– Work with team on decisions of when to add staff, trucks, and equipmentHere’s what you bring to the table:– Minimum 5 years’ work experience in a supervisory or management role construction/sales/facility management environment– Knowledge of the Roofing industry and construction techniques is an asset– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment– Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships– Entrepreneurial spirit and drive to grow the business– Strong management, delegation, planning and leadership skills– Strong communication, organization, multi-tasking and problem solving skills– Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Here’s what Flynn brings to the table:– Competitive wages– Extended health benefits– RRSP matching available– On-going career development courses and programs– Great environment where our motto is “Flynn Family Winning Together”!#LI-NS1CANRO
