Job description: Job Description:Our Calgary-based client in the logistics industry is looking for a Contract Senior Accountant to support full-cycle accounting during a business integration. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong reconciliation experience and knowledge of Axon or similar ERP systems.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entries and financial reporting
• Perform bank, AP, and AR reconciliations, both manually and through Axon
• Maintain schedules for accrued payables and customer deposits
• Assist with month-end and year-end close; support audit prep
• Identify and correct missing transactions or discrepancies
• Collaborate with admin/operations teams to streamline processes
• Support integration of an acquired business into the parent company’s systems
• Ad-hoc duties as requested

Requirements:What You Bring:

• 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in logistics or transportation
• Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with Axon or similar ERP systems
• Strong Excel skills and a detail-oriented approach
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, transitioning environment
• Available to start immediately
