Job description: Job Description:Are you an experienced accounting professional looking for your next role? One of our esteemed clients is hiring a Senior Accountant to join their team. This organization is looking for a detail-oriented, organized self-starter to take on a pivotal role in handling full-cycle accounting duties while contributing to the financial health of the business.Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle accounting, including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor and report on financial variances, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with process improvements and contribute to implementing accounting software upgrades, if applicable
Requirements:
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
- CPA designation is highly preferred, but candidates actively pursuing CPA certification will also be considered
- Proficiency in accounting software systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and internal controls
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
