Job description: Job Description:Our client is seeking a Senior Consolidation Accountant to join their Finance team. In this role, you will engage in period-end consolidation activities and work actively on the development and maintenance of their consolidation system. This is a hybrid role with competitive group benefits and leave.The Senior Consolidation Accountant’s duties will include:-Preparing complex, intercompany consolidations, verifying and calculating consolidation adjustments and entries-Preparing ongoing consolidation and related journal entries-Assisting in budgeting and forecasting process-Performing administrative duties related to consolidation system use-Performing data transfers from internal systems into consolidation system-Creating, maintaining and preserving integrity of consolidation system reports-Performing testing of consolidation system and leading system use and support, including working with the business groups on timelines and loading and consolidating the data into OneStream-Reviewing and reconciling reporting information of intercompany transactions and investments.-Collaborating with business groups on budget activities including data entry, schedules, and variance analyses-Other duties and projects as requiredRequirements:The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:-Postsecondary education in a relevant field-At least five years of experience of system administration-Strong organizational and analytical skills-Superb time-management skills-Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship abilities-Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel-Working experience with OneStream Consolidation system-Experience with Sharepoint, Newstar and/or Yardi are assets-Accounting designation or working towards one is a strong asset-A commitment to continuous improvement in processes and systemsIf this position interests you, please do not hesitate to call at 613-236-4253 or apply online today!Job Reference Number: 0013010397
