In this dynamic role, you will work with our nationally award-winning Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Advisory practice servicing both corporate and private equity clients. Our wholistic M&A group services include assisting our clients with readiness and diligence services pre-close all the way through transaction integration and execution. Our Transaction Advisory Services team is comprised of seasoned, expert, nationally acclaimed and knowledgeable professionals providing buy-side and sell-side financial, technology, and operational diligence services and advice.Responsibilities:Performs financial due diligence for clients who are acquiring and divesting businessesParticipates in client meetings and site visits while interacting with top-level management to obtain pertinent information for financial analysisPrepares detailed financial and analytical analyses to help clients evaluate their acquisition decisions and financing requirementsUses various software tools as designated by the firmInteracts with the other functional areas of the practice including tax, audit and other consulting practicesRequired Qualifications:A bachelor’s degree, ideally with a major in accounting or financeMinimum of 2 years experience in an Audit or Transaction Advisory practice within a national or regional public accounting or consulting firmExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPointAbility to travel up to 10-15% locally and nationallyAt RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.Compensation Range: $79,000 – $126,500Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
